Why is Tri city is One out of Cold Lake’s most Convenient Neighborhoods 

After 13 years of calling the Lakeland home, I’ve gotten to know the ins and outs of many neighborhoods—and Tri city is easily one of the most convenient areas in Cold Lake. I’m often in and around the neighborhood for showings, errands and visiting the Energy Centre, and I can see why so many people love living here. It’s central, well-connected, and close to everything you need for day-to-day living.

Location, Location, Location

One of the best things about Tri city is its central location. Situated right at the midpoint of Cold Lake, it offers easy access to both the north and south ends of the city. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who wants to stay connected to all that Cold Lake has to offer without spending too much time driving from place to place.

Living in or near Tri city means you’re never far from something to do. Whether you’re looking for recreation, shopping, or a bite to eat, this neighborhood puts it all within easy reach. 

  • Visit the Cold Lake Energy Centre – From skating at the arena to group fitness classes, walking the indoor track, or attending a local event or tournament, the Energy Centre is one of Cold Lake’s top spots for staying active and involved in the community. I personally love being at the Energy Centre—it’s part of my day-to-day routine, whether I’m getting a workout done, catching a community event, or just stopping in for a quick visit.

  • Shop at Nearby Amenities – Tri city is well-served with a variety of essential amenities. You can pick up your groceries at Sobeys, visit Shoppers Drug Mart or Value Drug Mart for your pharmacy needs, and shop for outdoor gear at local sporting goods stores. With everything within easy reach, running errands has never been more convenient.

  • Grab a Coffee at Local Cafes or Coffee Spots – Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax or a place to catch up with friends, there are several local cafes and coffee spots nearby. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee in a cozy atmosphere—it’s the perfect way to take a break during a busy day.

  • Relax at Imperial Park – Just down the road, Imperial Park offers plenty of green space, walking paths, and baseball fields. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful walk, spend time with family, or take in the fresh air, this local park provides the perfect outdoor setting.
